Architectural Designer

Salary Range: $62,000 – $93,000

TCF is an award-winning firm with significant Educational, Civic, Industrial/Maintenance, Transportation, and Administrative Facility projects. As a medium sized firm of 37, we offer a wide range of opportunities for those seeking professional development. Our use of VR, 3D printing, and laser cutting influences our design process and work flow allowing us to rapidly test ideas as well as create compelling presentations for our clients.

We are currently seeking Architectural Designers with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Architectural office.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates proficiency in Revit.
  • Demonstrates an intermediate knowledge of construction materials and methods and building codes.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team member.
  • Communicates effectively with the team both written and verbally.
  • Contributes to the development of the construction documents with periodic supervision by project leadership.
  • Produces presentation deliverables such as diagrams, 3D models, renderings, and animation.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Architectural Degree
  • Min 2 years of professional experience preferred
  • Understanding of all aspects and phases of the architectural process
  • Develop construction details and research architectural materials and systems
